EMPLOYEE WARNING LETTER
This letter is generally issued by the employer against the under performing employee in order to warn the employee about the unacceptable conduct. It is generally used in case there is a need to notify the employee about his underperformance. The letter makes it clear that the employment standards have not been met by the employee and provides a certain time frame to the employee to improve his/her conduct or performance.
This letter cannot be made legally enforceable though it is officially binding when printed on organization’s letterhead and duly signed by the concerned person in the organization. One must keep a copy of the same for the records. You may use it if you as an employer need to warn your employee about attendance, conduct, performance or any other concerned issues that must be addressed.
